Good work, guys. This is a classic example of how much progress can be made by staying with the high road and working within the system. It would have been easy to scream and shout, but the results would not have been as productive, especially for the long term. (Plus I kind of like the fact that now the saleboters have to get permits for their races, too....)
I was speaking with the president of a major boat manufacturer yesterday (who asked not to be identified), and he cited this situation and NJPPC's response to it as the best example he had ever seen in how to get things done.

Hats off to DaveP, Sharkey, Rick, Frank, Charlie, Rolf, and all the others who put forth the effort.

(Now that I've buttered you up, Dave - how 'bout returning my phone call?)
