Prospect Possee Plans Invasion Of Cincinnati....

Dateline: Prospect, Kentucky

News comes from the small hamlet of Prospect, Kentucky of the planned invasion of Cincinnati, Ohio during the running of the Cincinnati Offshore Grand Prix offshore powerboat races. Prospect, located just up-river from Louisville is reported to have more Offshore powerboat racing enthusiasts per square mile than any other zip code in the country.

Rumor has it that the "Prospect Posse", part of the larger "Kentucky (Outta) Control Group", is planning an all out siege on the city of New Richmond, Ohio, location of the June 13-15 Offshore event.

Posse organizers, Dixie Doug, Island Hopper, Wildlife, Mid- American Offshore, American Dream and other rowdys are said to be planning the attack from land, water, and air. Their objective...to make this one of the most memorable racing events in the history of offshore powerboat racing.

Stay tuned for further developments....

Ken,

I wish I could join you guys but I'm going to the Kentucky Lake Poker run. I'm going to talk to Roger about next year's schedule. It's a shame that both events fall on the same weekend...

Members of The Posse talked to Roger a couple of weeks ago about the conflict in schedules. Since this race is in the Northeastern part of the state it shouldn't have too much of a effect on the Poker Run which is 350 miles away.

We'll (The Posse) be heading down to Jamestown the weekend after Labor Day for the Cumberland Poker Run. Looking for another 200+ entries and we hope to bring the race boats down.

In th meantime the Cincinnati boys are rolling out the red carpet, for the Posse and everyone else coming in. Three weeks and a day to go....
