140 MPH cruising speed
I had the thrill of riding in Integrated Turbine Service's 40 Skater. WOW we cruised around the Chesapeake at 140mph. The ride is comfortable and stable, expect I had to hold on to my head set so they wouldn't blow off my head. We ran the Skater with the smaller set of prop and toped out at 160 mph. The bigger set have produced 174mph but I'm not complaning about 160. Check out there website through the link off of the this site.

How much a month would that be???? I think they will run on home heating oil.........I'll take it!

Is there a rev limiter on the turbine to prevent overspin when the props are 3 feet in the air?
Wow does that sound like fun.;)
What an experience, there's not to many people that can say they went 160 mph on water.
V-TEC I believe the revs are controlled by the fuel psi. When the turbine reach predesignated rpm the fuel psi drops and limits the rpm and the toque is taken away from the drives. Oh the turbines can burn diesel or kerosene or a mix of both.
