Who hasn't splashed yet???

Damn, this weather is really srarting to piss me OFF....I've had the boat ready to go for the last 2 weeks, washed ,waxed, all fluids and filters changed, some new gauges and other new goodies installed, even all new bearings and seals on the trailer, and a full tank of gas.....BUT,when it doesn't rain, the temps are only in the 50's with a nasty northwest wind(which LK MI.doesn't like)And the forecast for this weekend SUCKS too....About ready for a new hobby..................

My boat has been ready since the 1st of march and I've been out for two quick rides:mad:  It won't be long and we can all complain about the heat!!!

Another thing is that hardly anyone has broken anything.:D

The bad news is that for us on the Potomac, after all of this rain, there will soo much junk in the water for at least two more weeks after the rain stops.

For the most part my boat is 97% ready to go. The weather hasen't been the greatest, BUT there has been a few days that boaters could have been out there on the lake. Last weekend I was down in St. Joe and the lake was calm---in fact I counted slightly over 100 boats out on Lake Michigan within about 1.5 miles of the St. Joseph pier head/jetty last weekend. I thought we've been getting A LOT of rain lately----the St. Joseph River water levels are up----for now. The nice weather will be here soon---but you're right Steve, the summers it seems are almost too short.

I've been waiting on my new boat to come in. So I haven't minded the weather. But the wait over next week :) or so I'm told
