Sell the Formula??
Well, an opportunity has risen...I have found a REALLY good deal on another boat. It's a much better family style boat, but still should have some performance to it.
The boat I found is a 1999 Sea Ray 280SS equipped with twin 350Mags EFI/Bravo1. The layout is similiar to the Formula 280SS but this seems like a deal. Any ideas on how hard it would be to move my mostly garage kept 1990 Formula 292SR1 and 454Mags/Bravo1 and a tri-axle Eagle trailer with less than 300 hours this time of year? Lastly, if I were to become the owner of the above mentioned Sea Ray, would I still qualify to be a member of OSO??? Thanks Steve |
The boats that are priced well seem to move ok, it's definitely a buyers market and unfortunately on the selling side, prices seem to be lower. I think the good deal on your Sea Ray proves that point.
As far as being on OSO...Damn right :D |
Man, there's not even a Sea Ray owners forum:eek:   !!!!!!!

Stay with the bird man! Find a F 280 SS.:D

It does'nt sound like a "fast" Sea Ray is being well received now does it? :o :( If I could find a '99 280 Sun Sport for under $50k with a trailer I might think harder about stickin' with Formula.
By the way, can either of these be trailered (9'6" beam)!?? |
