Larry Smith, Scarab, & Kaama
 

I talked to Larry Smith today, and one of the topics was the Scarab performance line-up. Presently, he is going to build the boats himself- The bad news is he said the 38 is probably the smallest boat he will continue to manufacture.

He also indicated that he can still build a 38 flat deck hull, and has recently done one for a customer at LOTO, I believe.

Speaking of 38 Scarabs, I took the week of Memorial day off, and Kaama will be in surgery to have all 4 saddle tanks replaced. The new tanks are finished and look very much like the originals. I will freshen the bilge up and do some housekeeping next week.

I am on a 'Mission from God' (forgive me Catmando for I have sinned!) and have recieved a directive to 'make her beautiful'. I was planning to all along...
