It certainly is, with the owner Dick Strutton steering, Jimmy Brooker throttling and Carl Jones navigating.

The sponsor was Reg Haynes & Sons, a Toyota dealer located on the south coast of England.

I cant see the pics because I am a cheap Bastard but from your description of the power, that is the boat. It was Re-rigged and had an ugly trailer and truck. Both the truck and trailer are gone as it was traded into a friend on a package deal. A fairly new trailer is now under the boat and contrary to popular belief the boat is in very good condition. Actually the techs that have been doing the work are the same guys working on some of the worlds most Exotic cars. I just spoke with the owner last week and I know the boat has been gone over and cared for. Its nice to see someone taking care of the old toys!

Cougarman,
I asume you got that pic of dick's cougar 46 (toyota RHS) from OSO somewhere going by the OSO logo bottom right. Is there a photo gallery on OSO that I don't know about, if so, where can I find it?
