Check out these pics-Nor-Tech - awesome boats
Just got back from the Nor-Tech Factory. Terry and Tron were gracious enough to spend a whole day with Sandy and I. We also had a surprise visit from Leander and his girlfriend, (Total Marine and Performance) who dropped off Cyclone, a 36 Nor-Tech Cat, that will debut in the Louisianna area. Needless to say, the plant tour was awesome, what a factory. Not only was it clean and air conditioned, but each area served as a seperate function, and worked its way down the assembly line. All I saw was craftsmen and craftswomen working together, the amount of pride was on everyone's face. The boats all looked awesome, attention to detail was at its best, THE BEST I HAVE EVER SEEN, alot of europeen influnces here, the boats remind me of Lamborgini's and Ferrarri's, from the 50' cats and V's to a few 4300's and many 36' cats. The best part of the day was when Terry took us for a ride on his personal 4300 V. That was the iceing on the cake, kick ass paint job, a living room down below, twinn 900's and a pair of Six's, full tank of gas and 5 of us hitting 90 plus, with about 700-800 rpms to go, CAN YOU SAY ROOSTER TAIL
Check out our website under PICTURES, thats where the Nor-Tech pics are. 7 Pages. Thanks again Terry and Tron, talk to ya soon

Catman, I'm more of a V kind of guy, All the boats were awesome, I wish I could afford their 50 Cat and 50 V, best of both worlds, but something about that 4300, its not too big to trailer (almost 50') and only 15000 pounds.

Catman, A.T. is just in the beginning stages on their 42-44' boat, the first boat might be finished by January, and its allready taken, and a year from now is to long to wait for me. The Nor-Tech quality is awesome, the headroom is 6' plus, the beam is 9'0" with integrated swimm platform, and most important, the boat rides like a Caddillac, but looks like a Ferrarri.

Here is a pic of a nor-tech 38 center console.
The picture was taken when they tried to make a new speed record from Tvedestrand to Hirtshals and back to Tvedestrand
But the seas was to rough. They did not make it.
The distance is aprox 130nautical miles, and the old record was 2hours and 45 minuts. And was set in 1982.
