Without checking each manufactures history, I would mostof them tried the family deckboat style. And since prople were not standing in line to buy them, they stopped.

I owned one of these, a 1993 I sold it in 1999. It was the slowest POS I ever rode in. 28Mph Max with a 150 Force. It was a real good family boat, we used to put our kids on it in a stroller. (with a life jacket on of course). It needed way more HP. It looked cool but it would never get out of the water. It was only rated for a 175hp Ob. twinn 300's is what it needed.

I saw one that looked just like the one in the picture, same color and everything, up here in West Michigan on the Grand River a couple of years ago. I was surprised too. It is actually a nice looking boat.

P.S. it did have a single step in hull about 1" deep about 8' from the rear. Even with the step I never spun out no matter how hard I turned it!

I see those boats all over. Saw many at LOTO this past week. There are several running around west Michigan too. Some people down the lake from my parents in Traverse City have one too. Do they still make them???
