When you factor in "accessories"...
like clothes, cosmetics, jewelry, but most of all CHILDREN, there is no comparison!!
And a boat stops costing you money when you get rid of it. With a wife, that is definitely not the case!
But I love both of mine!!
And BadDog, with a woman, at least you usually have some warning of the impending "downtime"!

Women, for sure.
I know a fellow who is happily married to his high school sweetheart. He is nearing retirement age. When asked what was the first thing he intended to do when he retires, he replied "I'm going to get a divorce."
His shocked friends said "but you will loose half of your retirement!"
He then said "Yeah, I know. But the way I figure it, I KNOW I can live on HALF of it, but I am not so sure that the two of us can live on all of it!

Ditto on that girlfriend! Not "all" women cost mega bucks! BUT.... who has time to convince a man of that based on their past experiences?! Men can be high maintenance too.... he he! (L.A. guys... puh!). Disclaimer.... NORT - honey, that doesn't include you... you're not an L.A. guy!!!!!
