Anyways, early in the game tonight, Sammy Sosa breaks his bat in half and guess what the umps noticed Well the umps hudled, the fans bood, and Sammy got ejected Watch the sports sections tomorrow morning.
Airpacker - I think I'll keep my little cat at Havasu thank you
Tank, I've got an early flight tomorrow. Will call around lunch time when I get back.
So, it's Uncle Toys reporting live from the lake/ocean next to Chicago. It's cold (by SoCal standards) windy and two foot chop. Think I'll go upstairs, get some sleep and take and early flight back tomorrow.

Uncle Toys,
Welcome to our "little puddle". She can be great or a real *****. Sometimes it only takes an hour between the two. Next time you come out here pack some of that western heat. Maybe then we can get you out for a ride.

"Storms ordinarily of that velocity do not last over four or five hours," the report said. "But this raged for 16 hours continuously at an average velocity of 60 miles per hour, with frequent spurts of 70 and over." (Weather Bureau records show gusts of 80 at Buffalo--a true hurricane.)
Shipmasters testified that they ran through waves at least 35 feet high. These seas were considerably shorter and more frequent than the waves formed by an ordinary gale.
In the midst of the storm, the wind on Lake Huron swung from northwest to northeast so that it frequently blew one way while the sea ran in the opposite direction. These forces subjected the ships to what the association called "incredible punishment."
That was recorded from the great storm of 1913.

The lacks are really crazy.
I was on Superior real close to where the Fitzgerald sank and it was almost dead calm.
Hard to believe a boat that was about 1000' long had sank there
