Cord-How do you think the red lights will work on red carpet?

Dont forget the propeller that keeps spinning after youve stopped the boat

Probably, not very well. I had purple carpet in mine and it absorbed the light, instead of reflecting in. I was very disappointed until I took the carpet out.

We run 4 red neon tubes in the engine compartment of my friends Scarab. With the race hatch on, you can see the red glow from the scoop and the side vents at night... We have only broken 1 light tube in the 2 years the boat has been run. The breakage was due to poor mounting also... not the fault of the neon. Tube has been replaced and no issues! We used street glow tubes and transformers. It looks GREAT at night!

I put Neons on my friends custom Kenworth show truck . 2 tubes all the way around the bottom of the cab and sleeper ! About 36 feet of tube !! They were made to fit the truck . I don't remember by who . They are in aluminum brackets that bolt righ to the lower edge of the truck cab where you can see them . They are purple tubes with amber plexiglas front cover so they look like legal amber neon. The only difference is the bottom has holes drilled in it so the purple light shines down on all the chrome and pollished stainless like light puple spot lights ! It looks real cool and they have worked fine for around 350,000 miles !

They do put a humming sound in your radio when they are on . How do you get rid of that ??? JOE
