I have one friend that has this. He loves it. What are you thoughts about it? Do you have one or know of anyone who has it? Pros/Cons

Give me your feedback and thanks for it.

Mike

I have no direct experience with that one, but going on what my Avalanche came with, do not expect it to be Water PROOF, like a Fiberglass or Vinyl over the bed rail would be. That cover has three separate pieces with hinges of some type, be it plastic, vinyl, metal, or whatever. The AV has thick rubber surrounded pieces, three of them, removable and lockable; and is about 95% water proof. Notice on that web page they say their cover is water RESISTANT, and not water PROOF, which I think you may get better results in that area with other types, IF that is important to you. I would investigate the other types for water protection.

My AV cover has been much better with water protection though, since I lubed all the rubber with some Vaseline (that Troutly mailed me; he said he had an abundance; ;) :D  )

I've got that cover on my F350. I really like it. It's not waterproof, water resistant is the right discription. It'l cost just as much as a fiberglass lid, but it can be folded out of the way, opened from the front or back, or removed with 2 bolts.

Will that poor truck of yours pull the boat and the weight of a cover.:p

Payton, have you tried or is there anything I could do and make it waterproof? I assume you mean around the frame is where water comes in right?

We have had Access Roll-up covers on our last 2 trucks. Used to take crap from a friend about his "locking" cover. Well to date they have broken into my cover 0 times. They have now broken in to his twice. Broke the lock and corner of the fiberglass so they find out nothing was in there.
