454 engine failure

Customer of mine in Michigan just had an engine failure, he is not mechanically inclined so he took it to the local Formula dealer, they said $5000-$6000 to fix it but did not tell him what was wrong but he wouldnt understand anyway. He wants the name of a reputable hi-perf builder he can trust, anywhere in Michigan. A friend mentioned Tom Collins was good. Any body have any suggestions? I don't know anybody up there.

After reading your heading I thought you were going to bash procharger.

Sorry,I edited it. It is procharged but don't think that was the reason for the failure

I think Tyler Crockett is somewhere near there.
I don't have a number, but I'm sure some of these guys do.

Got 2 PM's within 15 minutes of the post,Tyler Crockett and Lenny at Millinium Marine. This board has a wealth of knowledge. Thanks guys, how else could an Alabama dealer find an engine builder in Michigan.I told my customer he needs to join OSO.
