Bummer. There were some AWSOME boats there. The 50 Nortech Cat "Extreme Exhibit" with 4 Sterlings gets my vote for most radical!! What a boat.

We left waterfoul's company at about 5:30pm had to get back to Holland (truck and trailer there)
took more than an hour to get to the ramp. had to keep it just on plane with tabs down at 22mph. could not see a thing!!!!
would be out there still if not for my gps and waypoint list.
my eyes are so tired from straining to see any oncoming boats pop out from nowhere. actually didn' t see any boats till the holland channel, hmmmm wonder why?????????
first legs of the run were awesome though. loved hearing them come from miles away as we drifted, waiting silently. first a faint rumble "what was that.........." then a couple roosts visible , then the chopper sounds then HERE THEY ARE, ON THE LEFT, ON THE RIGHT, LOOK AT THIS ONE, LOOK AT THAT ONE!!!
what a rush!!!!
then seeing them up close during lunch is great. talking to the owners and crews. Randy Ssism of MTI was extremely approachable, talking about the MTI they had there and the other one that was planning to make a kilo run. seemed to enjoy answering my questions. I appreciated that
can't wait for next year
