my friend is looking for a strong drive too use with 440hp diesel yanmar engines?
imco ,bmax or bravo xr ?
which one do you think is better?

No gears is the way to go= Pulse Drive is the way to go.

There was a beautiful custom Scarab at the SCOPE poker run with diesels. It was all controlled with "fly by wire" technology. No cables for steering or throttleing!

himm....
i told him to go with surface drives but he told me the shape of boat/hull is not good for that.(i dont know why).he said boat performs better with bravo style drives. boat is extented scarab-mold 45 long.
