Sounds like a lot of money. I am not sure of the values in your country, but this boat is Just OK, as long as the price is also ok. Last week you said you thought your Skater was worth 50,000 us. If that is true, the Regal is worth 15,000 US.

Philip;
my boat doesnt make too much money cause its not a pleasure boat.there is no race for my race boat . but these kind of family boat pricing is different.100 of 1000 people may buy this boat to cruise with their family .and 1 of 10000 may buy my race boat in case someone organises a race in the future LOL

The smaller cruiser is a good weekender. Don't expect too good of a ride in rough water though. Good lake or small river boat. They had some warranty issues that hopefully the previous owner had resolved. Usually everyone that I have encountered had the boat about one year or so then traded up to bigger. Good starter boat but will soon not be big enough for a growing family.
By the way my Regal 290 Commodore sank earlier this year. But that was a freak occurence.

Good luck

I sounds like that boat is underpowered. 200 hp in a 25 ft. cruiser? I think I would look for more hp. If you put 5-6 adults on it, you won't be moving to swiftly.

Had a 1988 Regal that I bought brand new in 1990. Had issues with gelcoat cracking couldn't get Regal to back it up. I threatened a law suit and they just laughed.......never will buy another Regal again.............gofastpilot

Tim,

We are a Regal Dealer. If it is a 97, it is a Commodore 242 and retail is 27K w/trailer. But it should sell for about 24-25K U.S. We think the Regal is an excellent boat. I would rate the quality of workmanship above Sea Ray. The layout is good as well. They are about the only boat on the market with a lifetime hull warranty! That says something in it self.
