It does not go by the Statue. It starts just north of there and continues north. What info do you need? I would be glad to help.

Being your pretty much uptown the best view you can get is along the West Side Highway, but for the start of the race you will only see them idle.
Most of our boating is around that area, and I'm still a Brooklyn Girl at heart. Either PM me or hit the Chat room tonite and I'll either have or can get any info you'd like.

Norton,,, There is a no wake parade until the George washington bridge, then its a mad dash to the TZ bridge and then onto croton and back to liberty landing marina.

I'm going to try to see what the schedule looks like......going to see The Producers while I'm there too, and try to hook up with BCC and John too. Thanks for the offer Chris, and the 411 Lucididee2.

I know nothing about NYC but I will suggest this. There is a ferry shuttle that docks at Liberty Landing Marina, where is leaves from NYC I don't know. Get there at about 10:00 AM and your eyes will fall out of your head!! The boat are absolutely amazing! From the OL, to Cigs, Cats, gas power, deisel power and turbines. Definately worth checking out.
Chris, I will be launching out of Stoney Pt. I like the idea of doing the first leg of the run, maybe less, and then heading back down to the marina. Do they have a restaurant in the new facility? If not we can all hang out at the Sand Bar across from the marina.
Lets set up a plan!
