Rev Limiter Time
 

A friend just called me, he took is 225 EFI Merc outboard in for service. They hooked up the computer and here are two times they got.

Total time 900 hours
Time on the rev limiter 157 hours :eek:

My 200's on my 25 Robolo with marlin tower, 52 mph top speed, always running at 5000 rpm. (5800 max) 1100 hrs. Like I always say," black on the back" I really believe if the same person is always running these motors the same way they will run for years. Damn, 157 on the limiter, whooo, sounds like he had too small of a prop at one time or else he gets some major air time:D
