No..actually I was in My truck. We got pulled over coming out of point . Some young rookie, bad ass, summer time cop started being a tough guy with me. So I played along ..right up to the point where 4 other patrol cars showed up. It Finally came down to "Take the summons or go to jail."
So i took the summons.

For you, I am surprised Bay Head & Point didn't also come back them up!

Now Bruce...... shame on you!!! I hope you learned a valuable lesson from this.....Before you became the "Crash test Dummy", were you the star of a driver ed movie; "How to piss off a cop"?
One wonders how long untill Bayhead PD starts up their "Marine Division"

As long as there's money to be made they'll be there.
Like the article said, they aren't out there looking for equipment violations, they're only looking for $peeder$. All the training they need for that is to how to operate a boat and handle a radar gun.

This year, contributions from residents and from the municipality permitted the department to purchase a $34,000 21-foot Parker cabin cruiser to replace the older Bayliner. The Bayliner, in turn, was donated to the new Marine Patrol Unit of the Brick Police Department.
Careful in Brick too, looks like their Marine Division inhereted the big bad bayliner. The F cove is in brick, so i guess they could write you a tkt right on the spot if they wanted to.

With the proposed traders cove development at the foot of the mantoloking bridge, I'm hoping they dont close down the F cove. That is one of the coolest spots that i can easily get to. I'll admit it, sometimes Jersey is a pain in the ass.

Bruce, next time you drive through mantoloking, get the entire police force and the marine officer to respond. Then he cant hassle us. C'mon, take one for the team
