I thought I read somewhere that this boat was built to race F-2 on the West Coast and it didn't work out. I thought something happened with water damage that resulted in the need for a new wiring harness. But, I might have the wrong boat. In any event, it looks like a great price for someone.

If it is like other owners of Eliminators that rewire their boats................it's due to the grounding. We all know the grounds (-) are very touchy..........and to get good readings on the gauges.............it takes a rewiring job

I'm not sure, but I remember this boat being on eBay a month or two ago. I seem to remember it was the same story, selling it for the bank. I don't think it had a reserve before either.
Hmmmm... Jeff |
Here's the story!
Two Poker Runs and Three races. Third race it hit a buoy, put a hole the size of a watermelon in the side. It went to the bottom, pulled and motors run the same day. Then it sat (inside) for a while, then was properly repaired and everything was gone through. If we were not in the process of acquiring a motor cycle dealership we would go after it. It will make someone an excellent P-class or Poker Run boat. |
