SURPRISE! Mike A. & Steve M at.......

There I was scanning the beach area for bikinis and thongs (never did see any) when I heard a large roar laughter. There were a group of men apparently having a great time.

Suddenly there was a hand on my shoulder, I turned and starred into the face of a cigar smoking head wearing a red Ferrari cap ( I also had mine on) with a big smile.

It was Steve Miklos. What the hell is he doing here at Lake Alfred where varios classes of OPC's, drags and.....are you ready??? and...Stock Outboards. You getting what's coming??

Well Steve pulled me over to where the group of laughing men were and there again to my surprise, was Mike Alweiss and friends. (get the connection now?? Mike and the Stock Outboards????)....After a short chat I decided that a photo or two of the group would be of some interest to OSO. Soooooo

Here are a couple of shots of the group...

Hey that's Ernie the ballast guy - haha. I'll never forget testing with Ernie & watching him hang off the back of the boat then crawling up in the front of the boat - as our "test ballast" . Lake Tarpon will never be the same - BH

You can see the kneeldowns as well as various classes of OPC including the growing very popular SuperSport that Steve mentioned.

Steve,

You are not kidding when you say passing all through the field. Never before have I seen so much passing in boat racing.

See you in Savannah.

For those not going to Savannah there is a kneeldown race at Haines City Fl (south of Orlando) ovet the 5-6 July. I was told over 100 of the lil guys will be there..
