If I can get this imported form Europe, this is my next boat of choice. Does the bottom look familiar?

It also comes in a CC configuration. Yes, it is an Ocke Mannerfelt design and it is 8 Meters long.

Miles per gallon, quiet, easy...sound like sailboating.

Can you put a blower on that?

Just kidding guys, I see their appeal

I know that this link is all about center consoles with egg beaters but the mack daddy of center consoles has to be the don smith boat www.smithboats.com. I've been at Houstons in Pompano Beach when 40' skaters have been docked there and the Don Smith is always the crowd favorite. Especially at nite when the purple neon is glowing on the boat. BAD ASS

Default Just Got Back From Concept

Flew down to Miami and met Luis, Susan, Maria and the rest of the crew at the factory, and yes Jerry and I comitted on a pair of 36's. This will be the 12th boat I've commissioned for construction over the last 30 years, from 13' Whalers to 46' Sportfishers from four different states and never have I been to a smaller facility! I'm still amazed and impressed with what these people produce under these conditions, I want to take my employee's down there just to witness it! They are moving to their new facility ( 5 times the size) in a couple of weeks so I didn't bother taking any pictures. Forget the facility, these people are very, very professional, yet it's like dealing with family. Luis is truly candid, I don't think this guy knows how to bull****. When he doesn't have an answer, he tells you so, if you suggest something that would improve the boat, if he agrees he's quick to tell you so. I got more done in three hours than I've accomplished in three days with other builders, with Susan taking notes and Luis and I flying from one issue to another, the boat took shape very quickly. Don't get me wrong he builds a high quality boat, and many of the changes I'm making would be totally unacceptable to other buyers. This boat will be operated differently than any of his prior boats, I made Luis aware of my intentions, which put things in perspective, he then started to design the changes in his head instead of wasting time on telling how hard it was going to be to do it, very refreshing. The triple 300hp Yamaha installation is not only gonna be a first but also a total pain in the ass for him as there are NO hot rod steering componets, or rigging bits and pieces, it's all gonna have to be custom, but he never batted an eye, he'd already moved on to designing the install in his head.
The 36 is definitely a crossover between fish and sport and the majority of his customers do some fishing, I'm building a stripped down, low maintenance, fairly fast hotrod. I'll always have the big boat when the need for real speed calls and continue to use it for all of the big speed / deep water events, the Saber rules. The Concept is gonna get a lot of flat out "to the wood" hours without a lotta love, I think it'll do it, but only time will tell.

Again thanks to everybody at Concept for making this experience a pleasure.
