Anybody notice the new trend - CC Outboards?

The reason for many to switch over to Yamaha is the availability of parts. Pretty much no matter where you are, you can find Yamaha parts more easily then Merc parts. This is really evident if you look at all the CC tenders to yachts that travel between the Bahamas, Caribbean, Mediterranean, they all use Yamaha's because the parts are easily sourced, if needed.

As you can see I had the vision back in 2003 for the go fast center console. We wanted to build something w/ an 8 ft beam w/ a cabin that was fast and not the traditional squared up look. LEOPAJM was on our original design team and I wish he could of seen the final product!
PS.....And you can fish out of a go fast cc!

Most of you guys seem to be stuck on Merc OBs. Is this becuase you are used to the Merc I/O you've had in the past? Personally I'd take e-tec's over mercs any day. Especailly the optis and verados.

A different sort of CC. I'm thinking add a 3rd motor and this would be perfect except for the price!! Sessa 34 KL
With the 2 300 hp motors it does I think 50+. I'd like to see how it would do with 3 350's

I'm moving down from a 28 Apache twins to a 21 with outboard. Hoping to free up some money so I can boat more with it. Its all about maximizing time on the water and minimizing wrenching time. For what it cost to annually maintain the apache I can almost replace the outboard every year.

For me it was just s matter of simplicity. I moved from a triple engine boat with a big cabin I never slept in that always needed somthing fixed. Now I have a big chunk of fiberglass with 2 outboards. And for me that is all I really need. I'm loving boating again.
