Where to find stud for trim indicator???
Where can I find the little knob that looks like a grease fitting that connects the K-plane bottom plate to the trim indicator cable?
Would Napa have anything like this:confused: |
kikefers have a long bolt that goes on the botom ram that hooks to the cable I will have one of these

this one is the older style it seems like the little knob is attached to the end of a short 1/4" stud that screws into the side of the inside support of the bottom plate. I bought a new plate and it doesnt have the hole for the stud, so I will have to drill and tap a new hole once I aquire a new stud.

Anybody Else have any suggestions??????????
I gotta find one of theese quick:o |
I would change it to a normal 10-32 stainless rod end with a through bolt, but if you want the "ball" style rod ends they are available from McMaster-Carr (www.mcmaster.com).

Hey Thrillseeker,
I am changing from that little post to the solid shaft style. I bought the shaft style kit from Eddie Marine (about $80.00 for the pair). If you still want the post, I can pull them off my tabs and send them to you... Let me know... Curtis |
I think napa will have it ask to see thier carborator linkage box, they have misc. sizes
