The big lake I was referring to is the Pacific Ocean. Actually, I doubt you could get 1.5 acres at any price in Newport Beach. At Havasu you can't buy on the water. It's all owned and managed by the Bureau of Land Management (gov't). Theres a couple of condo deals on the island and a few Native American mobile home communities on the west side of the lake you can lease land, but that's it as far as I know.

p.s. It was 100 both days at the lake and no clouds. A little breezy, but that just made flyn the boat more fun :cool:

You are right I own a house there for the last 6 years. You have to tow your boat to launch unless you get a slip.

The lake is geared toward 36' and under do to regulations in the channel.
