What do you want to do with it most of the time? How much are you going to tow ( mile's and weight)? Do you care about MPG?

SLINGSHOT 06-21-2003 07:40 AM

mostly everyday, business, towing my 25 outlaw would be the most and only 10 miles, i am still keeping my excursion, and i also have a dually for towing

The Nav is great. Go and drive all suv's you are interested in and none will ride as smooth as the Nav. Sit in the third row seat in all and none will compare to the nav. Any questions on it I can answer....... feel free to ask.

I really like my 2003 Subburban. I traded my 1996 Suburban (135,000 miles( on it and I like it even better then the old one. It is a 1/2 ton with the trailer package and it does a fine job of towing the Velocity 280. The trailer mode switch for the trannie seems to work really well. I have only checked the mileage once but on a 200 mile trip on Interstate 90 with a small amount of City driving, I got almost 18 mpg. Highway driving was with the cruise set at 72 mph. The only thing that I don't like is that the fuel tank now holds 31 gallons where my old one was 42 gallons.

It sounds like you have the towing and people hauling already covered, go with the cool one now H2.

Take a look at the Toyota 4 Runner Sport with the new V8. We just picked one up and it handles like a sports car with rocket power to boot. A great buy at 32K fully loaded. Tow capacity is 6500 LBS, the same as an H2. Very well made, great fit and finish and very well laid out.

mike0311 06-22-2003 04:46 PM

The H2 is 6500. Go to the website and look under specs. You would think it could handle more, but it doesn't.

mike0311 06-22-2003 05:01 PM

The H1 seems to be around the 7800 area. The H2 says 6500. Good luck with the new Caddy!
