Want to have fun AND money? Want to get rich while going fast? Then READ this thread:
http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...threadid=52959 The only thing that's wrong with this thread is its low-key title. This post attempts to rectify that. |

All P class. Your bracket depends on the speed of your boat. F2 would probably be P3 or P4.
P5 - 70 MPH and under P4 - 70 to 80 MPH P3 - 80 to 90 MPH P2 - 90 to 100 MPH P1 - Over 100 MPH Contact OPA for details. http://www.offshoreperformanceassociation.com Also, the guys over in the Racers Milling area will gladly help out. http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...threadid=52959 |

Tread, F2 runs in P3 class and F1 in P4. What boat are you running these day?
|
You guys pull off this prize money thing, and I may have to return to NJ. What a great job you guys have done!!!!!, even before this money thing!!!!!
Keep up the good work! Frank F |

Thanks Frank that means a lot coming from a long time racer like yourself. You know Runaway needs some TLC. These Wild Card guys are just as nuts as you used to be. You'd have a good play mate to run with.
You still suck for moving to FLA.:) |
How do you decide what class you are in? Radar runs prior to race time. How do you keep people from sandbagging, running slow during class assignments then running fast during races? Just curious The Ironman.

doh!!!!

Ironman: On-boad GPS.
|
Peconic, Is there a max size on any boat in any class? It seems that the bigger boats would have an advantage. Thanks , Ironman.
|
Ironman: No max size AFAIK. Speed decides the bracket. The size issue is a matter of a lot of discussion. OTOH, there are guys with much smaller boats but with much bigger balls (Wild Card comes to mind) who put the fear of God in guys who have much bigger boats (and no small balls either.)
You really want to head over to the Racers Milling Area where stuff like this is being debated all the time. This thread adresses most of the issues you have raised: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/s...threadid=51998 |
Yeah like the little 24' Carrera spanking the 30' twin engine Panther. Too bad the little guy missed a marker and handed Panther the win.

He Chris, wouldn't you run in P4? With Augie and Mad Dog? You up for all that?
