Looks like time to find a new provider !!!!!

Especially since you only boat a few months per year.

I'm surprised Allstate will cover you at all. They told me they wouldn't cover my 1999 28' Powerquest, and it was nowhere near as fast as your 380.

why not try state farm ins co..have found out lot's people don't even know they insure boats. you may be surprized how little they asked me about mine. asked if it was for pleasure.. i said sure it's not a love making machine never asked me how fast, course i didn't tell ,and how many motors i said 2 and showed him pic of it ..his expression was wow then told me how much.. and it was 250 under your 1st quote...on 2001 & i was paying over 3 time's what you were .. he he did i do good.?

Time to start a Insurance fund, OSO insurance we all pitch into the kitty, have No claim reward system to earn points for no claims. Now that would be cool. No insurance man getting fat off your hard earned cash.

i also have allstate, and have had them for years. i refered a friend to my agent, and they told him that they don't do performance boats any longer, but are honoring their existing customers policies who have performance boats. Maybe the big increase is thier way of trying to get us to leave on our own.

mine only went up 10% this year....guess i'm lucky

Ray, I have Allstate as well and my rates on my PQ have remained pretty much the same over the last few years. You think that maybe the rates jumped because of your motor investment?

Regarding State Farm....HaHaHaHa, , , I have State Farm for my personal insurance, truck, car, (4) MX Bikes, (2) ATV's, Full umbrella insurance and all my Business insurance and they flat out told me NO PERFORMANCE POWERBOAT insurance. Oh, and my record is clean.

I called Allstate and they said sure no problem.

What type of boat are you insuring? My SF won't do mine. I hope you never have to use it!!!!

I have got allstate as well and just got my bill. It is exactly the same as last year at $615 for my 2001 28 A.T. I have been worried what it might be but was quite pleased when I opened my bill.
I hope allstate isn't on here and raise me now.:D
