Hey Wetkitty,

I do have my POWER PLAY for sale, Its going to South Fla. if not sold by the middle of July. Hope to see you you guys in a few weeks. We'll have a few big guns running out there with us. What do you mean, will i run with you? I'm running with everybody...The Nor-Tech will run over 135MPH...hopefully But that means nothing...there's always bigger and faster. I'm looking to have a good day with everyone..........

What's the distance across LI Sound to Claudios from CT (Looks like ~18 Miles)?

And does anyone know where to dunk in CT, around Saybrook or even up the river, where when I go back my Excursion and trailer will still have all it's wheels and parts!!!

I might hook up with you guys if things can line up.

GLH,

You should definitely try to make this trip! It is roughly 18 miles. That would bring the Cafe contingent to 3! Indy may know of a place to dunk and Claudios ALWAYS has a bunch of boats come over from CT. I'm told it is an easy trip, in fact, we're gonna try to make the CT river trip towards the end of the summer.

GLH...Old Saybrook. There is a state ramp that is excellent, paved real nice, plenty of parking (across the street for the bigger rigs) and good dock space. You put in at the mouth of the CT River near Between the Bridges Marina. There is a gas dock nearby if you need it. Bring your Boat US membership card and they give you a discount on the gas. I've never had a problem at that ramp, it's actually one of the nicest I've used. Once you leave the harbor, it's 6 miles to Plum Gut, then about another 6 or so to Claudios. I don't think it's 18 miles, never seemed to take me that long. If you need specific directions with exit numbers and such, let me know.

I'd be more than happy to make the crossing with you, but I'm missing one very important item...my boat

Saybrook Pt - Plum Gut: 10 miles
Plum Gut - Claudios : 9 miles ( I know, it looks shorter)

Any challangers?
How fast will Ozzies new Nortec gonna be?
WetKitty...fastest boat this weekend?...you guys weren't anywhere near Shinnecock inlet were you? Much to my chagrin, a couple of Cigarettes fell victim to a 42 GTX...

Of course...this can all be resolved on the 9th
