There is a 47 at our marina. It has some big turbo diesels in it, and a huge set of surface drives. I've seen this boat run and it throws a giant rooster tail, and a giant wake. i think it runs about 60mph. anyone know the history of these, and how many were built?

i took some pics, but it was dark out....so they didn't turn out that great.

there's one at Falcon in NY that's being refitted...it's a monster...

I think only about 4 or 5 were made...

That's a nice setup. Always liked that boat. I think if were looking for a fast express cruiser this might be the ticket.

Hi-Perf 2000,

One of the exceptionally cool things about digital pictures is how easy it is to manipulate them. Most cameras come with some basic image manipulation software (Home Edition Photoshop, or some such), and you can very easily lighten/darken up the pictures. This allows you to take a crappy original and make it acceptable in most cases.

WOW!!!

sean stinson 06-25-2003 08:45 PM

They made a few of them there was a red one that lived at Ft. Apache for a long time. The one in the pictures may have lived there also or one very similar in color. Fun boat, the ultimate afternoon party barge and floating whorehouse but hey what do I know.

That boats not for sale is it ?? NO , not for me , a friend .

Don't even ask about my boat ..........:( Hopefuly see you some day on the water .

HiPerf2000 06-25-2003 11:03 PM

Joe (boot),

The boat was for sale for the last couple years. i'm not sure what's going on now. i think the asking price was around 250,000. you can probably get a deal on it because it is not very clean. it's a shame how people treat thier possesions.

Hey Boot how did you like Maine ? Hope your trip went well. JO
