I am a registered professional engineer and principal engineer/part owner of a consulting engineering firm and I do not understand those directions! I guess I need to find some 16 year old computer geek to help me out.

WOW... I can do ciruit level repairs in cell phones, but DANG... I wont even try THAT. From reading it you dont really get it for free, but you can clone an existing XM reciever.

If that is true, it's hard to believe that the XM guys didn't set the lock bits on the flash so the program can't be read back into the programmer!

I'm sure the last thing you want to be doing is unsoldering any chips off a new XM radio you just bought just to save $10/month!!! not wirth it in my eyes....though it goes to prove that given enough time anything is hackable! :)
