Lake Cumberland
 

Anyone here planning to be on Cumberland next week including the forth? 76 falls or just putting around?

Yep, Im there every weekend. We have a place up from the Dam on 127. And we will also have a houseboat at the Falls for the 4th.

Bajaboat and I are not sure yet, it is going to be a timing thing. Trying to see if it is going to work out, play it by ear...so to speak. Good chance we will be there racing though, I think Short Curcuit wants a piece of us on their home turf...:D :D Plus I think a certain brand new HD 2500 4 door Dmax would look mighty fine with race decals.....hahahahah (okay....maybe).

You guys who go down there alot need to pick a cove...We spent sat. last year in a nice one....1st r 2nd cove on the left coming out of the creek onto the main lake.....Close to the damn for the evening "action"

The sheep are chained up somewhere in Batavia being fed organic oats and grass....;)

Looking forward to the trip. I remember some of your boats from last year. We ran in the Sept Poker Run and I am always there the week of the fourth. Look for my buddie's new Formula 29. We stay up river at Harmon Creek on a houseboat but visit 76 falls frequently.

I think we should meet at the small falls it is easy to find in otter creek just stay to the right once you go around the big point, if anyone else has any ideas let us know.

Damn! They weren't kidding when they say that the entire state of Ohio migrates to Lake Cumberland for the holiday weekends! Ohio Navy?? Don't you guys have any water up in your neck of the woods? ;)

I will be down thurs afternoon...Launching at Jamestown...Will head towards 76 falls.......We don't get the houseboat untill Fri.

I say we meet at one of the coves by where you put in Bajaboat. It is in the middle of Conely and Jamestown and the law will not bother us!! What do you all think?

Forget this central Ohio.....We all might need to come down there this week.

On the maps everyone should be able to locate Camp Earl Wallace. Just head east around the next bend in the lake you will see a ramp on the north side. On the south side strait across is a real nice cove. If that one is taken there are quite a few in that area some with water falls etc.

We will be at Conley Bottom Thursday afternoon. We are towing the boat from Peoria. Had the boat home to perform the routine maintenance, engine oil and drive oil.

Probably will be at the dam floating around and swimming. Most likely will "not" go to 76 Falls. 2 and 4 year old daughters will learn about "those things" soon enough.

If you see us floating around or driving by, flag us down.

Leaving tomorrow early afternoon see you all there!

It was nice meeting you at Jamestown .. Nice boat. I thought Sign4boats said everyone was meeting ACROSS from the boys camp. At my age you tend to screw things up.

That is what he said...But I don't know the lake real well & wanted to make sure i would find you guys...I was looking forward to hanging out with the OSO crowd ! Oh Well...Next trip!
