Deitz,

Thanks for the photo that is kick ass especially for pond water!!
Karen wishes she would have been in the boat after she saw the water! I told her I'll draw long hair on shane and nobody will know the difference.

P.S. sorry shane.

SAw that boat headed north on Thurs. in s. Ga or N. Fl. I recognized it in about 2 seconds. I told my girl how cool I thought it was when I was at Martin.

Good Luck, Greg

PS- How about "G.I. DOUGH"

Thanks guys,

I love the boat and have it home now. Although after I did all the maintenance I took it down the river and made it 5 miles before the motors started running very rough and would not make any power.

I checked all the usual causes such as fuel pressure, quality, separators, ignitions, caps, rotors, plugs, etc

I pulled the carbs today to see if the floats were sticking, and they were clean as a whistle inside.

I am afraid it is valvetrain problems they are making a lot of noise when I can get it started.

Dan

PS possible name "Wave Hunter"
what do you all think?

LIfter noise like posible broken springs, and yes increases with rpm.

I'm taking the boat to my mechanic on wed to have the valve covers pulled and see what's going on..
