Crackdown On Loud Boats in N J!!!
There could be renewed enforcement of boat noise limits this summer, with State Police now in the early stages of thinking about how they might test overly loud engine exhausts and issue summonses against operators of such vessels.

We are slowly losing our rights to Boating, smoking, drinkin, gun ownership, speech, higher taxes , the list goes on and on.
Tell the guy to move if he doesn't like boat noise! He knew all this when he moved into the house. It sounds like the people who live by the airport in Philly complaining about planes making too much noise during take off and landing! DUH!
You wait and see what we as Americans lose because we don't get our ass out and VOTE! The NJ Power Boat club should at election time back someone and do everything possible for the person to win the election. That means on election night get your club members out in their own cars n trucks picking up people at their houses if you have to and get them to VOTE!!!!!!!!
Now in Philly they lock up the boat ramp at 10 PM because some NON -boating government guy decided that was the easiest way to curb the party's that go on by the water front at night. But I already contacted the office of a guy that will be running against him in the next election. I'm hanging signs up and knocking on doors for him. atleast I did my part to beat the BullSh*t

As a homeowner on the water and a performance boater I think we need to be considerate of other people. I personally like the sound of a open exhaust, however a lot of folks do not. I have gone to great effort and expense to keep my noisy ponies (2000) quiet. Being loud does not make you fast, it just sounds like it to the driver. I laugh out loud when I see some of the cruiser (cuddy style) boats running 35 mph with open exhaust. What are they thinking? We are going to have to try to keep the noise to a reasonable level that will not continue to draw attention to our boats. If we fight this we will lose more rights such as speed limits, etc.
