OT. Help with 98 Eldorado brakes

A few weeks ago the Eldo started braking funny. Stopped great at slow speeds but the faster you went, the harder you had to stomp on the pedal to get it too stop, and there was some grinding noise and vibration too. So, I got a pair of front rotors and pads and changed them, BTW, the old parts were not worn out but the rotors were highly glazed and polished. New parts in, brakes worked great, for about 3 weeks. Now I have the same problem. Any ideas? Some people have suggested the ABS system which this car is supposed to have, but where, and what do I do now?

Not sure about the technical stuff but My mother had the same problem with her old 98 STS, the dealer said something about the ABS system when they fixed it:confused:
