Well I have had a little delay on the motors
the usual getting all the extra stuff done alt rebuilds starter rebuilds and the like
Just purchsed some CMI headers this morning
The interior is done and the new steering system is in and Hopefully motors will be in a couple of months

Rumor has it that the Poker run is going to be run at the same time as the races. If this is true, what is that all about????? I can't beleive that they would be so stupid to do something like that. No one will be on the run, who would want to miss the races???? Someone let me know if you have any info on this. I live 5 miles from Milwaukee, and no one knows what the other person is doing!!!

Yes, there is a poker run that same weekend as the races.

The poker run is at the same time as the APBA races. Not very good planning. I have the itinuary here at home. I have left a message comfirming this and they never responded.

Does anyone know which marina the race boats will be docked at? Where is the best spot to stay closest to the marina??

Most likely, they will be at Mickinley marina. They have the best ramps and docking in this area. As for the closest hotel, none are within walking distance of the Marina or any of the happenings at the lakefront that week-end. Any of them downtown Milwaukee would be fine. the Hyatt, Wyndham, Pfister,all very nice. But it is too bad that the Taxi's will have to be used. If you drive, than it is no big deal. If you need more info, let me know. I live here.
