I tow a 37 Active Thunder with a 2003 Ford f-250 7.3 turbo diesel with a few Western Diesel mods, 4 stage chip,4 inch exhaust, ram air, exhaust brake. Tows like dream....,

I tow an '02 353 Formula/Eagle trailer with an '02 GMC HD 8.1/Allison/3.73. Mods are mild (265 Revos, tint, Extang toneau cover, ect) other than the Lyndon Wester custom programmed PCM. I like the big gas motor...quiet and a blast to drive unloaded, especially after the PCM upgrade. I just did 600 miles with boat in tow and got 8.3 ave MPG on three tanks...A/C on and cruise set at 65 MPH. Truck maintains speed well...I was suprised the grade it would pull in O/D (5th gear) (tow/haul on). Only saw the top of 3rd occasionally on really long grades/hills.

Scarabfan: I agree with you on the F-650 Supercrewzer. It is an incredible towing machine. We had the use of one for a race a few years ago (promotional deal) and it was fantastic. I only wish that I actually owned one!
