I have a bit more hp than you, but couldn't get a good tune on the EFI's with brand X switchable mufflers. Installed two pair of IMCO gatlins (zero back pressure) and I have the sweetest sounding motors on the lake, also no fouled plugs and a clean transom. See if you can't find someone who may have a set in your area and get another opinion...

Drew Marine Shotguns....Meet requirements for a permanent full time muffler and you loose NO horsepower. Adjustable and a very good price. $450 a set.

Cool

My question is; how can switchables not change back pressure? I personally killed a lot of spark plugs being a nice guy and idleing into a mirina with my old set...

Anouther reason to use the Shotguns....The backpressure is what opens the butterflies....And the amount of backpressure that it takes to open the butterflies is adjustable....
