The lower units are regular sportmasters. After talking with Doug Valentine and Steve Simon the lower units may change. I asked them to make the modifications neccessary to optimize top end. Some of the options include cutting down the skeg and polishing the leading edge on the sportmasters. Or, doug said he may substitue the sportmaster for the regular XR lower. Apparently, the sportmasters work best with cats. Various mods are required to make the sportmaster work with a V bottom. Has anyone else has that issue?

I think this is the best photo that shows off the great rigging job Donzi does. They do all of their wiring harnesses in house.

This is a new Super Vee boat on the assembly line. It's going to a new group. (That's all I can say).

During the tour of the factory Donziman2 and I saw everything. Steve and Doug were awesome. Here is the cabin interior getting the final touches. The workmanship on the Donzi's is incredible. They pay special attention to every detail.

In this picture notice the different foam colors on the back seat. Steve pointed out that the yellow foam is good for the seating areas, but the firmer gray foam is used on stress areas. In this case the end of the back seat is where you are most likely to grip hard. This is the example I was speaking of in the earlier post. The attention to detail seen here was evident throughout the factory.

Steve and I standing in front of the ride. In the background is a new Proline. Donzi is now building the big boats for proline. This is part of the umbrella of boats built by American Marine Holding (the parent company of Donzi).

This is a new 38ZX getting ready to ship. The colors were stunning to see. It's a reverse typhoon pattern.
