Default Anyone have a used Top Gun cover??

I need a full cover for my Top Gun. It doesn't matter what shape it's in or what color it is. The cover will only be used to cover the boat while it's inside my storage building and it will get bird poop on it, so it doesn't have to be nice. I have a nice cockpit cover (which is on it now) but I don't want that to get all stained up.

Anyone out there that can help me out or suggest a suitable cover that I could buy for not alot of $$. It just seems like overkill to spend alot for one!

Thanks in advance,
Craig

http://www.tarpsplus.com/boattarps.html

They are tarps and not covers..but a 20x40 is cheap but they come in bundles of 3 for $129.29 for the entire bill of goods.

Would this work? Lots of guys at my former marina buy from them...great service and prices. Once enough birds have their go at it ....you have 2 left for the following seasons

Thanks Hydro. Have you done a complete research analysis on these??

Can't hurt to try that, but I wonder if they would hold up to being folded up every weekend and then put back on the boat after we get back.

Craig, if you just need something to cover it while it's being worked on in a storage building, get a 40x20 blue tarp, $50 bucks. My marina has them, and I use them each winter for Nov to April. Works fine.

When you're ready for a real full sunbrella canvas cover, get with Ashby at Atlantic Canvas. Make sure you get the Gortex stitching.

Why even put it in a building if Birds can just chit on it? The Bird chit is WAY worse then rain water!!! You sure that there is a roof on this place?

I actually have a cockpit/bow cover (2 piece) off of a Tiger. I got it from "Stalkin" a few months ago and it was used until a custom cover was made. It's made from a light weight canvas material. If it sounds like something you're interested in, let me know.

What Top Gun did you buy anyway, since you sold your Bullet?

I just ordered a 3 pack of the tarps that HydroCruiser posted. That should do the trick! Where I keep my boats is inside a 30' X 70' building, but it's not heated and the door stays open. The way I see it, it's inside out of the elements ....and it's free!

Tank, it's the one that I back bought in April.
