HI Jon You got a really nice boat there!!

Here is a pic of mine when i picked it up at the boat builders, it was then brand new , an no holes or nothing was cut out on it. So I started with a brand new hull, and designed it like I wanted..

cobra860, Snap! I did the exact same thing with my Phantom, had it built as bare hull and deck with structures, to my requirements, ie, floor layout and engine bulkhead position, then I did all the fitting out, and rigging, bought the motors as long blocks from peninsular, and did all the marinising, and mated them to a pair of B1's

Do they still make the Smuggler 28 in Sweden?

yes I think so, i saw them in a swedish boat magzine some time ago, they had then done alot to the deck an made the much more modern, so it looked noting like the old smugglers.

your hull look pretty much like mine, my is 28 feet 24`deadrise

and the story says that mold to this hull is taken from an old magnum 28 that don arronow sold to guy from Norway in 1968 after a boat race in sweden. Called getting loppet.

Check out this site.
rotarypower
They are making rotary engines that use diesel fuel.
They make two engine sizes, each using different rotary sizes.
Then they are using multiple rotarys to give more power.
Its interesting... they seem to have a good power to weight ratio, for a diesel.
