Fireworks on Boat?

I say No Way, No How!!!

I think it's a bad idea, but every year around this time, I see all kinds of people on all kinds of boats launching fireworks from their boats.

First, I would imagine, that hot sparks and burning embers would make a hell of a mess and create burns.

Second, it could be dangerous depending on where they may land--like in someone else's boat.

Last year, we were rafted up in a crowded anchorage waiting for the bands to play and I was dreading being bombed.

Anyone pull it off successfully?

Have fun and be careful out there this weekend!

DNR could probably get you for using a distress signal when there is no emergency also.

Light fireworks on boat?
Only when fishing!!:p
1/4 stick in water = fish in net with a fraction of the time wasted :D

I've seen bottle rockets and crap launched off boats, but I wouldn't want any part of it. I'll ream people out for lighting a 'cancer stick' while on my boat!
