The water on Thursday was a little rough but I must say it was a lot smoother running up front we had a blast:p

Thanks, we've really enjoyed it. Just turned 305 hrs and haven't touched the engine other than routine stuff and new CMI's. Put a 1" deeper spacer spacer on the drive last week and it helped a TON in getting more bow lift. You can see it in the pics Von took. Also had the prop labbed by Houston props for more bow lift. Gained about 5mph at a 3600 rpm cruise and a couple on top. It always rode great and now its even better.

Thinking about a bunch more improvements for next year already. A Whipple innercooler and a 3" raised hatch are high atop the list :D :D

Thanks.

............and I know I need to change my email addy:rolleyes:

A special thanks to the guys in the Eliminators for stopping to make sure I was OK when my engine stalled. It was a freak thing. Cruising at about 50mph and hit a set of HUGE cruiser wakes (5'-6') that I didn't relize were so big and close together. Launched off the first one, plowed into the second and backed the throttle down and the engine stalled as the boat stood up on the third one. Wouldn't restart for a few minutes. Checked for fuel and spark and had both, so just mashed the throttle and it finally fired up. Probably just stuck a float closed and ran out of fuel the bowls as it landed REAL HARD. Ran like a top the rest of the weekend.

88 Mach1, I am soooooo very sorry we didn't stop to help you guys out. I had no idea you were having a problem. I thought you just stopped to take a break or a quick swim to cool off. My sincerest apologies.

What happened with JBK?? Was he just "admiring" his power or what??:) Or was the boat just coughing a bit from the freshwater;)
We just decided that we would go ahead and stop in the main channel and replace a hose that cracked.:D :p LOL
