OT: Golf Cart Fever
My two girls have it. That means I do too. So, we are looking for a starter gas cart. Somewhere around $1000.
Something that I can "work" on this winter. (read tires, wheels, lift kit, etc.)
The thing is I don't know which brand is better or best. Is it ez-go, club car, yamaha? I know I want gas, but two or four stroke?
I play golf but have never paid much attention to what brand the carts were. I know the ones up around LOTO were stong runners to climb all those hills especially at Seasons Ridge.
We stay at Grand Lake in OK, and the terrain is similar. So need to go fast on the flats and have the grunt to pull up a couple of hills.
Thanks any info

EZ-GO
We bought one for our kids this winter. It's a 1998 model. They drive it all over the place. We take it camping so they can run around and terrorize the neighbors
The EZ-GO uses a four stroke two cylinder engine that has proven to be dead-reliable with plenty of grunt. You'll like it. It's easy to govern down for the kids use. I would advise doing so.
We'll be getting an adults-only cart within a year for lifting and "other" modifications.
