A Friend of mine :frog: broke one of the 4 windshield pane on his Scarab. He makes calls to Wellcraft dealers in Quebec (where he lives) while I dig around here in the US with the information we took off the other glass of his windshield.

Gets quotes from $2,000 US to $5,000 US just for the part!:eek: :eek:

Meanwhile I find the part # thru Wellcraft and had figured out the manufacturer was now a division of Taylor Made in Bradenton, FL talk to Lisa in customer service she ships me the whole thing with gaskets including shipping for $216.00 US.

So last night he came and picked up the part that was shipped inside foam like it was going to Mars! He was so thankful he bought Diner for the whole gang 6 of us and gave me a bottle of Remy Martin "XO" which we made a dent in!:drool:

So thank you to all Wellcraft dealers in Quebec for restocking my Remy Martin cabinet and the Baked Stuffed Lobster at the Rusty Scuffer!!!

I paid a grand to a dealer for the small plexiglass windscreen on my 95 22' scarab... wish I would have known...... Bastards!!!
