Anchor Shade Straps

Anyone know where I can get a set of straps for an Anchor Shade? Having a hard time contacting the mfger. Talked to West Marine where I got it and they can't get them. Any help would be apreciated.

As long as you have one good one, I would have someone local who has a sewing hand just make you some. You should be able to find the clips and webbing at any local fabric and supply shop, and I bet you would come up with better quality than a re-purchase of the originals. Just make sure you get nylon webbing, and the fabricator uses quality and thick nylon thread to affix the clips.

I saw in a sales flyer from West Marine or Bass Pro shops that a new Anchor shade is $149.00!!! $50.00 less than normal. Not sure were I saw it though. I might go buy a new one.....a friend passed out on it and bent the $hit out of it!!:p

I know this came up last year and they were only 89.00 shipped but are now $119.00 and I believe they are better than anchor shade

Bimini Shade

I got one last year, it took about a week and I love it.

I talked to that guy last year and he said after we were all talking about on here and on fast boats he was back ordered and had never sold as many............I guess the old supply and demand rule kicked in. He couldn't have made much on them and prolly still doesn't, although I'm sure they are made in some sweat shop somewhere in the evenings after the 10 year old kids are done turning out clothes for Kathy Lee and curtains for Martha Stewart. :):)

Any canvas shop will be able to help you, its the same stuff they use for Bimini tops, or get some cheap straps from Wal-mart or K-mart.........................
