Engine Work in Kansas City or LOTO?
Engine has near 0 compression in #2 cylinder (502 Mag Carbed) and I don't have the time or experience to attack it myself. Can anyone suggest a good reasonable engine shop in the Kansas City or LOTO area.
Boat is currently at Berger's at LOTO, but they're swamped and can't even fit it in for another 3 to 4 weeks!
I'm trying to get the boat sold but obviously will fix it first. Brokers are calling me to show the boat now and I am missing out on good buys left and right!
Thanks,
Travis

You might try Jason at Lake Shores marina at LOTO. I know several people that have been very satisfied with his work. I would imagine everyone is swamped right now though. Good luck.

Call Jason or Joel at Lake Shores 1 573 374-5257.
I can look at it if you like. I use a machine shop at the lake. In the Kc area I would not waste my time with the marinas.

Hey KC,
If you can't find anyone, call me. I can bring back next weekend, to my guy here at Grand and see if he can slide it in.
Or better yet, just trade it in on a new one - you old tight a$$!

Thanks for the offer Rebar. I'll let you know if I can use your help. I'm leaving town for a week tomorrow. No deals on trading. I'm sure everyone has a boat that doesn't run to it's full potential. I'll see if Lake Shore's can fit me in.
Damn right I'm tight. Forward me the cash and I'll buy as many boats as I could ever use!!
Did you get your low rpm's prob fixed? Have fun at LOTO!
