Again, Why?????

We planned on doing the Cincy Poker Run but AGAIN there are ISSUES that have us sidelined untill they are addressed! We might make it sometime in 2004, Venting, Robbie

Of all the greats on this board we should be able to help.

Go ahead and vent about the issues.

What is going on? Is there anything that I can help you with?

Dan

Sorry, I am flying this week and this is the first chance I've had to get back on the board. Yes, it is the New boat, the problem lies in dialing the boat in, I had a set of 5-blades come apart 3 weeks ago and trying to get the issues addressed. Dan has promised to fix the problem but in the mean time, we lose another poker run. We have a set of 4-blades but they are not hooked up like the 5's. I will post more once I have more info. Robbie

PS. Jeff had problems with get Radioactive dailed in, how did he cure that? Jeff, PM me a # where I can reach you! Robbie

Robbie, your p.s. answer is: He threatened to kill me......

Of course I am kidding. Really though, we don't manufacturer many of the components that go into the boat. Nobody does. We buy Gaffrig, Marine Machine, Mercruiser, Herring, and so on.

I only assume that if they were 5 bladders, you have Herrings. Call Jim @ Herring. Top-notch service and willing to help. He dialed Jeff's boat in and it made us all smile. You have Imco lowers and steps combined with big power. You need the 5 bladders from Herring or you have your hands full. Take care and boat safe, Pat.

DEFYN GRAVITY 07-16-2003 06:52 PM

Pat, You nailed it!!!!!!! Correct on all accounts, the labbed 4-blades lost almost 10 MPH and are a b*tch to get on plane. Jeff had some issues with with his set-up and was hoping to get some feedback on what route he went, Thanks, Robbie

thunderdan 07-17-2003 05:35 PM

Robbie,

How did you make out? The best set up for all around boating and best planning setup that Jeff runs is 1 1/2 spacers in his shortie Imco lower with his 28 pitch 5 blade hering props size 28 I believe.:)
