If you are going to be looking for a quality built boat with great cabin space for under 60k, you should be looking for an older used 31 Sonic. I doubt that you will find a used 35 Sonic (or any 35' boat) in that price range in good condition.

Can't beat the slide out between the couches for sleeping either. The bed in my brother's 35 Formula PC (cruiser) is smaller than the slide out bed in the 31.

IT may be out of your price range, but Black Thunder has the nicest cabin of any performance boat and even some cruisers. They are unbeleivable.

Surgin' General, do you have any more pics of your boat. That is one nice Cig.

Default Buy Cig1's CAFE all the way

Enough for the three of us over long weekends! Oh yahh and I'm 6'4" 265 #. Surgin's right also nothing like getting to the ramp with a Cig and guys with Fountains come to see yahh!!!!!! Mind you they will pass you on the water (if it's not too rough) but you will pass them on re-sale and ouchhhh factor!

Clay, we spent the 4th of July weekend on lake Travis (brother-in-law has a house on a cliff in Lakeway). You would look good in a Sonic on the beautiful lake.

A Fountain cabin might not be spacious but i know it improved our sex life.
Ours makes us feel cozzy.

C'mon Surgin'....You said it...

What's the dirt on the carbon layups???

When I was researching late 80's early 90's Cafes and TopGuns I had several people tell me that the carbon layups occasionally had problems which Cig remedied by replacing hulls. I don't know when the decision was made to discontinue the carbon hulls. Anyone have any info?

Here are a few more shots of the Surgin' General...
